What is Reagent Exchange?
Similar to a classifieds section, this site is a forum for scientists to advertise either commercial or non-commercial reagents. Scientists can search the exchange for reagents they need.
How do I search the exchange?
Select a Bio Category from the pull-down menu on the left. Enter the appropriate keyword in the text field, and click Search. A screen will appear that lists your reagent search results. Click on the reagent name to view it.
How do I contact the person who posted a reagent?
Easy. Just click on the e-mail address next to "Contact email" on the Reagent Listing Information page.
How do I post a reagent?
First, you must be a BioCarta member. Joining is a fast, easy process. Simply go to My BioCarta and sign in. After you register, return to Reagent Exchange and click on the Post Reagent button at the bottom of the screen. A new screen will ask you to provide information about the reagent and how an interested party might obtain it. After you fill this in, click on Post. You also have the option of clicking the Cancel button at this point.
How do I save a reagent in My BioCarta?
First, you must be a BioCarta member. Joining is a fast, easy process. Simply go to My BioCarta and sign in. After you register, return to Reagent Exchange and click on the Save Link button on the Reagent Exchange screen.
